Mission

The most secured individual in the human race is the one with a profound Mission in life. It takes a lot of investment in time towards the process of mission building.

What are the ingredients of mission building? A person should have searched and found meaning in life which is time-bound or timeless. The question here is when? Better late than never, at least in your lifetime you successfully achieved such milestone within you.

After the search and rescue operation, the person should affirmly and strongly believe that it is his mission without any single doubt coupled with many signs of justification of mission based from the experiences encountered during the search process.

Then, it is time for the person to apply the mission with guidance from God based on his faith wherein God will always send messages and signs through events, people and other circumstances in life to confirm that you are on the right track of your Mission. This is God's revelation. He is revealing Himself to us, talking and touching us through these essentials in order for us to continue our Mission to God and mankind for God's Kingdom to reign here on earth or heaven on earth. Therefore, discernment and sensitivity are necessary to the mission proper.

All of us are missionaries, meaning, we have a mission to fulfill. It is only dependent on how receptive we are with the events in our lives.

Meaning

Do you see meaning in what you are doing right now? Or, do you do those things for art sake? In other words, what is your usual motivation in life? Is life mechanical or routinary for you or you go beyond what life can offer you?

Sad to say, most individuals are "Zombies" right now. They are living dead. They just exist for art sake. They do things because they were told to do so and also because most people are doing it (a necessity). They don't go beyond or deeper to what life is all about. Worst, when they are bored in life they would either commit suicide (or become criminals) or end up in mental hospital. This is the reason why our country or the world in general is going nowhere. It becomes a "survival of the fittest", just like in the jungle during the pre-historic times. It is a modern day survival where those unfit either end up in jail, cemetery, mental hospital or other contemporary rehabilitation institutions. Thus, in relation to this, the unwritten rule of the society which is the winners or successful persons are always welcome and given praises while the losers and failures are shunned and discriminated, is very much prevalent in our present day survival challenge.

Searching for meaning in life is a serious mental exercise where commitment is important in order to find meaning in life. It is going beyond one's existence and looking back to what had been done so far. Thus, from there, where to? It is being sensitive to all the experiences in life and connecting from one event to another. Then, look for the messages of those encounters which will give you the meaning of it all.

Happiness

Why is happiness hard to achieve? It is because most persons do not know the essence of life. They question why they exist and suffer from different issues in life. In the first place, do people know who they are? This is a basic question that every human being should answer in order to be successful and happy.

Self-knowledge is the key in order to find direction in life. Knowing our weaknesses and strengths will give us the tips on what we have to do with ourselves. Thus, if we gain the foundation of self-knowledge, then self-acceptance, self-love and self-transformation will automatically follow.

After reaching self-transformation, we form within us a sense of self which will lead us to the essence of life. The essence of life is for us to be happy in the practice of our profession (calling or vocation). Our profession is service to others and therefore it is love/charity because we do it in order to help others and ourselves economically and other reasons or motivations of our existence. This profession qualifies our God-given potentials/talents and justifies the application of self-knowledge(strengths) or sense of self per se.

In doing so, we find fulfillment in what we are doing and when we enjoy doing it, it is no longer work for us because it becomes a second nature within. Therefore, we can say that we are happy which will become "inner joy." Being happy is momentarily but inner joy is forever. Let us deepen the source of our happiness in order for us to have inner joy.

Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder which affects the individual's thought processes. It is obviously characterize by voices being heard by the individual suffering from this didorder.

When an individual is suffering from severe depression, there is a greater tendency to experience schizophrenia due to the fact that there are conflicting thoughts that would come in within the mind of such individual.

This could also be hereditary or acquired. Hereditary in the sense that if the mother is schizophrenic, there is a higher possibility for children to inherit such, just like what happened to most of my patients. It could be acquired when the individual could not cope with his depressive mental state.

It is very much necessary for individuals to learn to be positive at all times in order not to be affected of the negative situations in the environment. Try to focus on the good and always count your blessings inspite of the realities of life. Don't forget to pray and increase one's faith in God despite of all the circumstances in daily living.
