Self - Acceptance

Isn't it hard to accept something which we don't like especially when it is about our own selves? Sometimes, we don't want to look at the mirror because we are afraid to see the reality of our being. Why? It is because we are not ready to accept our own selves from what we have done wrongly or mistakes which we did not expect to happen.

The truth of the matter is we are just on denial stage where we try to cover-up the actual state of our own consciousness. We want to think that we are happy but in truth we are not. Why? It is because there is a missing link within. We try to look for happiness outside but happiness is from within. If there is no happiness in our hearts, inner joy is harder to find.

Can't you accept your SELF? Is it a big deal? What about your strengths, potentials and talents?

Self - Knowledge

Do you know who you are? Why are you here on earth? Do you just exist for art sake? Maybe, you are just like the majority who are "Zombies", simply Living Dead because they exist mechanically and do things out of a routine without any sense of self or meaning.

This is why many people are not happy. They are plain miserable. They have wasted their time and life on doing nothing sensible and meaningful. This is the common virus existing in our contemporary society where people just survive at their own risk. This kind of virus is fastly contaminating the vast majority of the world's population nowadays. People are empty within without any self-foundation and self-worth. That's why most people now have only three choices to end up: Cemetery (Suicide), Mental Hospital (Psychotic), Simply a Zomby (Miserable).

What is the answer? Self-knowledge is knowing one's Weaknesses and Strengths and responsibly doing something about it.

Anger management

Negative emotions are hard to control because they seriously affect us. We want to end them at once, that's why we tend to be impulsive. Normally, when we are impulsive we act negatively at the expense of others. When we resent and do not know how to forgive, such anger will cause skin rashes, pimples, tumor, worst is cancer.

One of the emotions which is hard to contain is anger. We have to know how to manage one's anger if we want to age gracefully. Here are some tips on how to manage anger positively: Have a habit of writing your anger (sentiments) and then throw it in the garbage can. Go to the gym and exercise or do your own stretching exercise. Clean your house. Go to your room or somewhere that nobody can hear you and then cry or shout it loud enough. Sports will also help you like swimming.

The bottom line is you have to tire yourself in those activities so that you can release your anger. When you calm down, then that's the time you can face the person you are angry with.
